Households, workers and family members as well as inform outsiders on the farm not to
hunt, kill, fish, collect or trade in threatened or prohibited animals and plants and even the
area it is not an endangered species.
Farmers are not allowed to keep wild animals in captivity. Other pets are kept in captivity
according to the 5 Article Principle that regulates freedom for animals: Good Nurturing –
Good Habitat – Good Health – Appropriate Behavior – Protection from suitability and stress.
Exceptions for captive wildlife are only permitted where permitted by law.
The household does not use wild animals to process or harvest any crops, including noncore certified crops.
Farmers recognize and do not intentionally release exotic species into their farm and
remove them into aquatic ecosystems to avoid further spread and notify workers that they are not allowed to release them. Plant or livestock species are not considered invasive alien
species.
