Farmers identify all farming activities that affect the environment and identify sources of
polluting waste such as: Fertilizer packaging, pesticide packaging, domestic waste, ….
The management team, leader farmer must guide farmers to collect all types of waste
into the gathering place and process it to minimize the risk of causing environmental
pollution to avoid release waste disposal into aquatic and natural ecosystems.
Do not burn waste (waste), except incinerators according to regulations to avoid
pollution. Reduce waste and promote reuse of waste, especially by converting organic waste
into organic fertilizer for plants.
Wastewater from production/processing processes is treated and tested to meet the
requirements of discharge parameters before being discharged directly into the aquatic
ecosystem such as: BODs<750mg/l; TSS < 50mg/l; Oil < 50mg/l; pH=5.5- 9.
Domestic wastewater needs to be treated to meet the parameters before being
discharged directly into the soil or used for irrigation activities. Parameters to be achieved
such as intestinal nematodes <1; Coliforms ≤1000.
Wastewater and human waste must not be used for production and processing activities
and must not be discharged into aquatic ecosystems to avoid polluting water sources and
negatively impacting human health and the environment.
